SeaSolve Marine Logistics, part of V.Ships Logistics, was audited recently by LRQA. The process began in October 2009 and the company sailed through the assessment without a single minor non-conformance or observation being issued. SeaSolve has become the latest Group company to achieve quality certification.
SeaSolve has also been visited and assessed by the leading UK trade association BIFA (British International Freight Association) and as a result granted membership. This will mean a change in SeaSolve’s trading terms & conditions to those of BIFA (link HERE or copy available on request) and a commitment to promote good practice within the freight forwarding industry.
Commenting on these two important milestones in SeaSolve’s development, MD Paul Reeves stressed the importance of demonstrating high professional standards to customers and confirmed that 2010 is going to be a year of further expansion for the company. Plans are already at an advanced stage to open a new warehousing hub in Singapore, with Shanghai & Fujairah not far behind. SeaSolve Asia has been operational since 1st January 2010 and the opening of the warehouse is expected to strengthen the global activities managed by V.Ships Logistics.
