Using Hecsalv and NAPA software, SeaTec Engineering (see www.seatec-services.com) provides vessel owners and operators with specialist support in the event of a collision, grounding or other incident affecting the ship’s integrity. Specifically, advice is provided in the form of stability, draft and trim calculations, structural integrity, bending moments and shear forces, oil outflow predictions and ground reaction and required tug forces.
The service is geared towards providing a rapid response in an emergency situation on a 24/365 basis. SeaTec staff work as an integral part of the client’s wider emergency response team.
