Onboard Training
Onboard training services are based on an initial evaluation of the capabilities of a ships crew with regard to the familiarisation of equipment and to assess emergency preparedness. This evaluation forms the basis for identifying specific training needs which can then be addressed by the onboard trainer using training materials and by exercising lifeboat, fire, enclosed entry and other emergency drills.
These bespoke training services are provided by SeaTec (see www.seatec-services.com). The company’s superintendent trainers are all ex senior officers who offer specialised training in Bridge Team Management, Passage Planning, Accident Investigation, ISPS Awareness and in other areas of ship operation.
Specialised training including crime scene awareness and incident investigation is provided to passenger vessel crew by V.Ships Leisure in-house department.
