Ship Security
V.Group offers a comprehensive range of range of services to manage a vessel’s exposure to acts of terrorism, piracy or other threats world wide.
V.Navy provides a wide range of services in connection with security at sea, surveillance equipment and response systems. Working in tandem, the SeaOwl sensors combine an electromagnetic radar senor and an infra red sensor to provide 360° coverage. Short-range response equipment can be provided by optical cameras and infrared illuminators and can be steered automatically towards a target detected by a long-range device. The same equipment can trigger a Long Rang acoustic Device or a water cannon.
SeaTec (see www.seatec-services.com) provides a complementary range of services geared towards compliance with the ISPS Code. These encompass the provision of approved Company and Ship Security Officer training courses, onboard security drills and exercises, risk assessments and the preparation of ship security plans.
