Viplex, the information systems and software engineering arm of V.Group, brings together the accumulated knowledge and understanding of the marine industry to provide unique information systems (IS) services to ship owners and operators.
At the core of our service offering is V.Ships’ proprietary ShipSure system, a fully integrated enterprise resource planning software suite specifically designed for marine related businesses. ShipSure is constructed as a modular system and users can choose which modules they wish to implement- depending on the nature of their business.
ShipSure has been designed to run on-ship and on-shore and through using the ship-based modules, the Master, Chief Engineer and other sea staff enter information directly into the system - making their jobs easier and raising the overall efficiency by avoiding the necessity for office staff to manually enter data received from the vessel. However, ShipSure is flexible in that there is no necessity to use all of the ship-based modules and all data entry can be done in the shore offices. It is possible to use a combination, for example, in situations where the systems may be on-board only for part of the fleet.
Viplex offers full project lifecycle management covering system acquisition, design and full implementation and handover support.
