David Hoare

Executive Chairman

David Hoare was appointed Chairman of V.Group Limited in September 2007. He assumed executive responsibilities in June 2008. He is also chairman of Sparck Holdings BV, Chairman and Co-founder of Duncton PLC and Director and Co-founder of Talisman Management Ltd.

 

Patrick Rosselet

Group Finance Director, V.Group Ltd

Patrick Rosselet became Group Finance Director in 2005. He joined the group as Financial Controller in 2001 when Acomarit, where he was serving as Finance Director, was acquired by V.Ships. He is a qualified chartered accountant.

 

Roberto Giorgi

President V.Ships

Roberto Giorgi has been with V.Group since 1980 and was appointed as President of V.Ships in 2005. Prior to joining V.Group, he attended the San Giorgio Nautical College in Genoa and served from Deck Cadet to First Officer with Navigazione Alta Italia, Italian Line and Sitmar Cruises.

 

Tom Sweet-Escott

Non-Executive Director

Tom Sweet-Escott has an MA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and has seventeen years of private equity experience. Tom joined 3i in London as an investment Director in 1988 and moved to Spain in 1991 to co-found 3i’s Spanish business. He returned to London in 1995 as a Director of 3i’s London buy-out business and was involved in making a number of high-profile successful investments including Lloyd’s of London Press, Travelex, Fairview Homes, Go-Fly and Westminster Healthcare with an enterprise value of over £1bn.

 

Richard Tudor

Non-Executive Director

Richard Tudor joined Exponent Private Equity in 2005. Prior to joining Exponent he was at Apax Partners where he focused on large buyouts working in London and Milan. He started his career at Rolls-Royce plc before moving to LEK Consulting to work as a strategy consultant.
